...drivethru dumb ass...

Have you ever found yourself in a drivethru line and seen this? The person in the car ahead of you apparently doesn’t  have a functioning door window and has to order and receive items by opening the door. Now not only is this dangerous, but this is completely amazing. The lengths people will go to so they don’t have to WALK inside to order.  Seriously people, wouldn’t it just be easier to park and go inside.  You have to open and close the door the same amount of time, given you close it to drive from the speaker to the window.  Another great piece is the exchange between drivethru dumbass and the employee.  The person has to pull ahead ever so slightly so the door doesn’t block the window.  This creates a magical and beautiful ballet that the driver now has to perform so he/she can reach the said window.  Some drivers end up putting the car in park and then try the routine, while others like this lug do it with the foot still firmly on the brake.  And don’t forget about what happens when the person pulls close to the building to be able to reach the window, it presents another obstycal.  You then run the risk of hitting the building.  Again, like this lug.  After hitting the building with her door, she decided to pull further up, thus making it harder for her to do the reach back move to get all the food she ordered.  I only wish I would have had a video camera instead of just my phone. This lady would qualify for the “real American Hero” campaign for Bud Light commercials.  So with that, I salute you, Mr./Mrs. too lazy to go inside to order food when a challenge (driver window malfunction) presents itself.

What are your experiences with drivers like this?  Ever see them hit the gas pedal instead of the brake?  Are you a drivethru dumbass?  Are you a drivethru employee that has had to deal with these types of drivers?

Well this made for a pretty good Monday lunchtime laugh. Thanks lady.  matthew Z
